At Girls in Tech we always enjoy our networking events to get our members together, talk about industries, careers, work/life balance (what is that?) and just being a woman in technology! This time we'd like to use these events to give back to other organizations that encourage young girls to get more involved in science and technology.
100% of your attendee fee will be going to the Science Club for Girls and used to build programs where girls gain exposure to science and technology. Hear what one 8th grade girl in the program had to say, "I didn't think I had the brains to become a scientist but
over the last few semesters, I learned it doesn't matter what your race,
age, or appearance is. It's about having friends and peers to encourage
you through your goal, Science Club for Girls made me realize that I have
the power and the knowledge to become a scientist.”
